Mapiu is an established DJ and producer based in Mexico City, with career spanning over 38 years in the electronic music scene. Deeply influenced by the sounds of New Wave, House, and Techno in the ’80s and ’90s, he developed a unique style that combines analog textures, dynamic grooves, and emotionally driven storytelling.
Since 2003, Mapiu has been actively producing music, leading him to sign with top-tier labels such as Selador Recordings and Urge To Dance. His sound blends Indie Dance, Progressive House, aTechno, crafted for clubs and festivals alike —melodic, textured, and always evolving.
Over the years, he has taken his sound to dance floors across the Americas and Europe, cultivating a loyal fanbase and leaving a mark with his emotionally rich sets and deep musical knowledge.
Mapiu’s sets are eclectic and powerful, connecting with diverse dance floors while staying true to the roots of underground electronic culture.

Pepe Camil *
Pepe Camil, born in Mexico City, has been DJíng for more than 15 years now with a sound that is made for the dance floor with one constant: groove. He established his career in Mexico City back in 98 while playing in the best and most important clubs of the era city such as: AM, Rioma,, Pervert Lounge, Colmillo, Play , etc as well as in the major cities of Mexico.
In 2004 formed The Underexposed (www.theunderexposed.com), a promoting agency dedicated to showcase the best underground talent around the globe. The Underexposed parties gathered much acclaim around the local clubbing scene due to the focus in music forefront and not profit. The Underexposed showcased in Mexico such artists as Kosmas Epsilon, Derek Howell, Jaytech, Matt Rowan, Ricky Ryan and Andrew K, amongst others, now international stars in the DJ / producer realm.
In 2019, Pepe started producing his own music, focusing on downtempo electronic music as well as some left field electronica; his Ep, “Son of God” reached the #1 Beatport charts in 2023.
He currently plays regular gigs focusing on house and progressive house music.
