Balance Croatia... when everything converges toward success

Cuando arrancamos este proyecto de TRK/ID México, siempre tuvimos claro que el foco de todo esto era la música: el poder conocer y compartir anécdotas, escuchar tips de los grandes y las nuevas generaciones y, obvio, poder comunicarle a nuestro público la nueva musica que estaba por salir y que nuestros invitados estaban tocando, rompiendo los dancefloors globales.

Nunca pensamos que 10 meses después íbamos a ser seleccionados como medio único latinoamericano para cubrir La Copa Mundial de Progressive House: Balance Croacia 2026!

Desde que pusimos pie en el hotel Balance sabíamos que estábamos en casa… nos encontramos amigos como Aubrey Fry, Nick Stoynoff, Tim French… leyendas como Jimpy los cuales nos acogieron como parte del grupo y de ahi todo fue para arriba.

Llegar al evento principal el jueves con los sentidos alerta fue totalmente envolvente… ver pasar a cada uno de los headliners de ese día, poder abordarlos y platicar con ellos, platicarles de TRK/ID México e invitarlos a una entrevista fue un rush total de adrenalina. En este proceso pudimos conocer y platicar con amigos como Steve Parry, Dave Seaman y conocer a nuevos grandes como Hernan Cattaneo, Patrice Baumel, Jody Wisternoff y muchos mas. Nuevos talentos con los que charlamos fueron Spencer Brown, Carina Lawrence, Ezequiel Arias y varios varios mas… (esten al pendiente de el contenido en Youtube).

Respecto a música, todo fue calidad… desde el set en el muelle de Hickey and Halo, la fiesta de Simply City, el afterparty en Barbalella’s con Danny Howells y John Digweed, Sasha en el escenario del mar, Cattaneo dominando el escenario, Kamilio Sanclemente tocando con toda el alma, nuestros amigos Aubrey y Nick deshaciendo la terraza, Patrice Baumel tocando musica de ciencia ficción con disco (si disco!) y Gai Barone haciendo magia con Kasey Taylor, Balance es una experiencia imperdible para cualquier amante de el Progressive House, y la musica electronica en general.

No puedo esperar a regresar!

Ah, no les conte de la fiesta en barco de Selador al atardecer con Quivver y Parry? Ni me lo recuerden que me regreso….

When we started this TRK/ID Mexico project, we always knew that the focus of it all was music: the ability to get to know and share anecdotes, listen to tips from the greats and the new generations, and, obviously, to be able to communicate to our audience the new music that was about to come out and that our guests were playing, breaking global dancefloors.

We never thought that 10 months later we would be selected as the only Latin American media outlet to cover the Progressive House World Cup: Balance Croatia 2026!

From the moment we set foot in the Balance hotel, we knew we were home... we met friends like Aubrey Fry, Nick Stoynoff, Tim French... legends like Jimpy who welcomed us as part of the group, and from there, everything just took off.

Arriving at the main event on Thursday with my senses alert was completely immersive... seeing each of the headliners of the day pass by, being able to approach them and talk to them, telling them about TRK/ID Mexico and inviting them for an interview was a total adrenaline rush. In this process, we were able to meet and chat with friends like Steve Parry, Dave Seaman, and get to know new greats like Hernan Cattaneo, Patrice Baumel, Jody Wisternoff, and many more. New talents we chatted with included Spencer Brown, Carina Lawrence, Ezequiel Arias, and many more... (stay tuned for the content on YouTube).

Regarding the music, everything was top-notch... from the set at the Hickey and Halo pier, the Simply City party, the afterparty at Barbalella’s with Danny Howells and John Digweed, Sasha on the sea stage, Cattaneo dominating the stage, Kamilio Sanclemente playing with all his soul, our friends Aubrey and Nick tearing up the terrace, Patrice Baumel playing sci-fi music with disko (yes, disco!) and Gai Barone working magic with Kasey Taylor, Balance is an unmissable experience for any lover of Progressive House, and electronic music in general.

I can't wait to go back!

Ah, didn't I tell you about Selador's sunset boat party with Quivver and Parry? Don't even remind me, I'm going back...
